It’s summer so it’s also high time to dream about the perfect beach house or to make plans for an escapade. We discovered a hidden paradise on the Portuguese coast, not far away from Lisbon, that will definitely arouse your desire for a beach break.
The house was designed by Pequenina Rodrigues and is divided into four fishing huts, each of them accommodating a different area. They divide the kitchen and the living room from the bedroom, bathroom and other three guest rooms. The charming shacks were built on sand with a structure made out of recycled wood and are connected through several opened paths.
The exterior has several charming porches, a dining area and a swimming pool. The roof made out of straws blends perfectly into the outstanding landscape.
The ethereal interior design is made up of recycled objects and materials combined with traditional elements, all in a perfect harmony of colors. The combination of blue and white is the classical trademark that gives that Mediterranean feel. All around the house there is the obvious presence of a passion for wood. It is used under all shapes and forms and recycled to suit any corner of the space.
